The Mobile Museum of Tolerance presents a new traveling exhibit – “We The People of Illinois” – an interactive learning experience that weaves together histories from across Illinois through the lenses of community, intolerance, and rights.

The history of Illinois is as bright and vibrant as its many communities. These stories inspire community solidarity. At the same time, our shared histories of prejudice, persecution, and violence hold lessons for us today and lead us to new questions about civil and human rights.
